(Tempe, AZ)   Seven hundred BatteryMole® Monitors have now been sold on Amazon. During these last 4 years not a single customer has ever reported that a bad battery went undetected.

(Tempe, AZ)   U.S. Patent 8,581,548 titled Integrated Cell Balancing System for Multi-cell Batteries has been issued to 4 Peaks Technology LLC. This invention effectively doubles the life of the lead-acid battery.

(Tempe, AZ)   U.S. Patent 8,437,908 titled Battery Monitor System Attached to a Vehicle Wiring Harness was issued today by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. This invention recognized that the health of a car battery can be monitored anywhere in the vehicle where there is access to the battery's power. It is not necessary to attach a monitor device on or near the starter battery. This invention also makes note that the battery monitor system can be combined, for example, within a car's infotainment system. Cost is thereby reduced by sharing the same enclosure, power supply and user interface.

(Tempe, AZ)   U.S. Patent 8,386,199 titled Battery Monitoring Algorithms For Vehicles was issued today by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. This is a very important patent because it captures the instability that a car battery demonstrates when it is nearing end-of-life. This phenomenon is not new in that various systems in nature demonstrate instability before failure (e.g. earthquake faults, heart disease, etc.). 4 Peaks Technology LLC, however, is the first to note and make use of the instability in car batteries in order to predict battery failure.

(Three Rivers, MI)   A Notice of Allowance is being issued by the U.S. Patent Office for Patent Application 20090228171 titled Battery Monitor System Attached To A Vehicle Wiring Harness. This patent reflects the unique manner in which our BatteryMole® product monitors the starter battery.

(Three Rivers, MI)   A Continuation-in-Part patent application has been filed. This application depends from 10 patent applications currently being prosecuted with the USPTO. This application covers a broad range of subject matter including, but not limited to, doubling the life of the battery, battery pre-failure warning analysis and battery life-expectancy based upon operating temperatures.
2/11/2012| 13th Patent Application is ready
(Tempe, AZ)   4 Peaks Engineers have completed the draft for our 13th patent application. This application directly relates to embedding a microprocessor inside a lead-acid battery that will in turn introduce the 150 year old lead-acid battery to the modern world of electronic control. The life of the lead-acid battery is about to be doubled.

(Three Rivers, MI)   Henneman & Associates (Registered U.S. Patent Attorneys) have filed our 12th patent application. This application adds new material to a previous application that deals with predicting the remaining useful life of a car battery based upon its operating temperature.

(Tempe, AZ)   A draft for a Continuation-in-Part that adds new material to Application 12/655,275 (Integrated Cell Balancing System For Multi-cell Batteries) has been sent to Henneman & Associates for filing. This application is the structural keystone for doubling the life of the lead-acid battery.
10/13/2011| Intellectual Property Activity Continues
(Three Rivers, MI)   Henneman & Associates (Registered U.S. Patent Attorneys) have filed a Continuation-in-Part that introduces new material for patent applications 12/070,793, 12/075,712 & 12/319,544. This material relates to our current BatteryMole® product and to future products that also monitor the starter battery and predicts its imminent end-of-life. This intellectual property will be of great benefit to new car manufactures.
